Until 15 December 2025 a certain number of rooms are reserved for participants at DIS2026 at Royal Carlton Hotel ( the conference venue) and at Hotel Internazionale. Bookings are made on a first-come first-served basis. After the expiration date, the availability of rooms is no longer guaranteed.
Given rates refer to Single room, Double Room for Single Use and Double room. Hotels Accademia, University and Donatello have also special rates for Triple and Family (4-bed) rooms. Hotel Aemilia offers a 15% discount on standard rates when booking.

These hotels are located in the city centre, in walking distance from the venue. When booking, inform the hotel that you will be attending the DIS 2026 conference. The listed rates have been negotiated with the hotels, but you may want to check whether online booking is more convenient at a given moment. Online platforms as Booking, Trivago, Expedia and AirBnb offer many solutions in Bologna city centre. A hostel for students is also available (it needs early booking as well).
if you are travelling by car, bear in mind that in certain areas the access to the city centre is restricted and electronically controlled. Ask the hotel for information when booking, as they can provide an access permit for your car. If the hotel is located within a restricted area, the vehicle access permit should be for free. However, note that parking in the city centre is not for free. Ask the hotel for information to book your parking as well.
